COVID-19 PANDEMIC BULLETIN # 2 March 19, 2020
IRTC UPDATE:
- The total number of lab-confirmed positive and presumptive positive cases in Manitoba remains at 17 at this
- Public health investigations are continuing on the seven additional positive cases identified yesterday. It appears that six of the seven cases are related to travel. Further information about travel is pending for the seventh
- Effective March 18, 2020 the IRTC main office and sub- office will be working virtually to avoid social contact to maintain precautionary measures on COVID-19.
- IRTC will remain operating with essential services
- IRTC has suspended any program staff travels to our IRTC Member Communities to avoid possible risks to the communities.
- Testing sites for COVID-19 are accessible by referral only. These sites are not walk-in, and require screening from Health Links – Info Santé (204-788-8200 or toll-free at 1-888-315- 9257) OR online COVID-19 screening tool: https://sharedhealthmb.ca/covid19/screening-tool/
- There are 8 testing sites with more locations TBA:
- Winnipeg (several locations)
- Selkirk (1st drive-thru testing site)
- Pine Falls
- Eriksdale (opening early next week)
- Thompson
- The Pas
- Brandon
