IRTC UPDATE:
The current five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is two per cent and 40 new cases of the virus have been identified as of 9:30 a.m. today, bringing the number of cases in Manitoba to 1,993.
The data shows:
- two cases in the Prairie Mountain Health region
- two in the Interlake-Eastern health region
- one case in the Northern health region
- four cases in the Southern Health region
- 31 cases in the Winnipeg health region
The data also shows:
- 599 active cases and 1,374 individuals have recovered from COVID- 19
- there are 13 people in hospital and seven people in intensive care
- the number of deaths due to COVID-19 is

CASE INVESTIGATION UPDATE
Public health is advising of possible exposures to COVID-19 at the following sites on the dates and times:
- La Roca, 155 Smith Street, Winnipeg: Sept. 26– from approximately 4 p.m. to 2 m.
- Pentecostal House of Prayer, Kinonjeoshtegon First Nation: Sept. 27 – from 1:30 p.m. to 5 m.
- Glenlawn Collegiate in Winnipeg on Sept. 25: based on the public health investigation, this exposure was assessed to be low risk and the infection is not believed to have been acquired at the
- Les enfants précieux childcare centre in Winnipeg on Sept. 18: based on the public health investigation, this exposure was assessed to be low risk and the infection is not believed to have been acquired at the school or at the childcare centre.
- A COVID-19 outbreak has been declared at the Calvary Place Personal Care Home in Winnipeg. The site is moving to Critical (red) on the #RestartMB Pandemic Response System.
Manitoba First Nations COVID-19 Pandemic Response Coordination Team (PRCT) BULLETIN – September 29, 2020
The Manitoba First Nations COVID-19 Pandemic Response Coordination Team advise that, since the September 25th bulletin, twelve (12) new First Nations COVID- 19 cases were identified as of 7:00 am, Monday, September 28th. The total number of lab-confirmed positive and probable positive First Nations cases in Manitoba has increased by 12, taking the total to 83 cases. 64 cases are off-reserve and 19 cases are on-reserve. The total number of recovered cases are now 26 and active cases are 57.
