IRTC Congratulates Kinonjeoshtegon on Grand Openings

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Interlake Reserves Tribal Council (IRTC) would like to extend their congratulations to Chief and Council for their recent opening; of their Kinonjeoshtegon Abinoonjiiiag Niigan Inc. (Child and Family service office); Kinjeoshtegon Wellness Centre; and their Kinonjeoshtegon Community Hall.

“These community infrastructure upgrade and builds will serve the community a long time, our community needs these places for our members to have access to quality child and family services, mental health and wellness, and for hosting overall community events” says Chief Tony Travers

Today serves as the grand opening for all 3 of these facilities, and IRTC board and staff commend all those involved in getting these projects off the ground.

“Kinonjeoshtegon has been creating opportunities for local employment and their youth to have a healthy community. That’s focused of the needs of the people, it’s a pleasure to work alongside Chief Travers, and his council. They are doing big things for Jackhead” states Chairman Cornell McLean
