
What is COHI?
COHI is an early oral health intervention program that is aimed at children age 0-7, parents/caregivers, and prenatal women. COHI provides parents, caregivers, and pre/postnatal women with information on good oral health habits, to help achieve and maintain the oral and overall health of their families.
Services we provide:
- Dental Screening – quick visual inspection& individual care plan
- Referrals -for dental treatment
- Fluoride Varnish – applications 2-3 times per year to help prevent or slow down cavities
- Sealants – help prevent cavities in pits & grooves of new adult molars
- Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF) – help slow/stop early cavities
- Temporary Fillings (IST) – help prevent the growth of existing cavities
- Oral Health Education – Classroom, Group & 1-on-1 presentations

- Improve access to preventive oral health care
- Identify early cavity risk factors
- Reduce the need to extensive dental treatment
- Promote good oral and overall health
